Highly Recommended Book: There Are No Accidents: Synchronicity and the Stories of Our Lives

I just started reading this book, There Are No Accidents: Synchronicity and the Stories of Our Lives by Robert H. Hopcke. He tells us about the concept of synchronicity and the deeper meaning of what may be perceived as mere coincidences.

Are there such things as "coincidences"? My belief is that there is no such thing as "just a coincidence" - only the Universe carrying out His plan for each and every one of us. Synchronicity, in effect, is taking place every minute of our lives.

"Accidents", "coincidences", "synchronicity", or whatever you want to call these experiences, give value to our lives. They offer proof that a Higher Power is at work. History is taking place. At the same time, the story of our lives are unfolding before our very eyes.

Yesterday I had a long conversation with the owner of a business I frequent. I came to find out that we have so many things in common. We agreed to collaborate and I would help him with his dream for his business. As I sat there talking to him I also realized that in working with him, my dreams were being fulfilled as well. If this isn't synchronicity at work, I don't know what is.

I've only just begun reading this book and already I'm more aware of and grateful for each and every moment of my life. I already knew that things happen for a reason. Now I have the reason.
