Blessings to Come

What may sometimes seem like a failure or a setback are actually blessings in disguise. I have to remember this after this weekend. The turnout for the auction was not what I expected. Fortunately, Melissa, the gallery owner, is kind enough to extend the silent auction through March. I hope the rain will let up a little so that people can go out again.

Everything happens for a reason. I wondered where I went wrong, but I can't think that way. God's plan is perfect.

Busy Bee

I've been a busy bee the past couple weeks with the art auction. As much as I try to slow down and enjoy the moment, the days are flying by. I looked at my calendar for February and noticed that each day was marked with some kind of event that requires my presence. Some days start at 5 am and end at 10 pm. As I type this, my eyes are burning from lack of sleep and I'm having a case of writer's block.

Is this how Donald Trump lives? He has assistants to help him with paperwork. I have me, myself, and I. I would like to try out for his show, "The Apprentice", but I will be in Vegas for a convention when they come to San Diego.

Things can only get better from here!!!
