Stay in Tune with Source

You can never go wrong if you stay in tune with the Source of all creation. I do this several times a day by meditating. Sometimes in my meditating I visualize my future. I see myself doing things that I love and being in a state of ultimate bliss. I feel myself rising to that spiritual level, but I still have some physical baggage weighing me down that I need to get rid of.

It gets easier by the day to detach from this world. I watched "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" the other night which helped bring the concept in focus. You would have to be on a higher spiritual plane to truly appreciate the movie. Otherwise it would have been just mumbo-jumbo. It is probably one of the most creative movies I've seen in awhile. True genius.

So back to staying in tune with Source... Once you're in tune, all feelings of fear and doubt begin to dissappear. Just imagine being on a natural high where nobody or nothing can bring you down. That's the way that God intended for us to live.

Another Recommended Reading

If there's one motivational book you should read, it's "The Power of Intention" by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. One day I happened to turn on the local public television station and watched him give a talk about the main points of his book.

If you could just for a moment, close your eyes and imagine what your life could be like if money was not an object, you were working on your dream job, and had all of your life's joys. Do you know that it's possible to have it all? This book shows you that IT IS POSSIBLE. This book just reemphasized to me all that I've learned from my mentor, Marilyn Jenett.

Wouldn't that be great if we were all on that same level of thinking -- that all positive things are possible? That song, "Imagine", is playing in my head.

by John Lennon
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today, ah-ha

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You, may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
Nothing to kill or die for
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You, you may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Been Away

I've been away for awhile! Life's been hectic with a benefit auction, making and selling jewelry, and showing houses. I started reading "The Power of Now"by Eckhart Tolle and I'm learning to really slow things down a little bit. I've learned to just enjoy everything that's happening right now. At one point I was so busy chasing my future and my dreams of the future and not enjoying all the prosperity that is coming my way RIGHT NOW. Wow- I sat down and counted my blessings the other night and was blown away by all that has happened in the past month. All that I could ask for was right in my face and I didn't even realize it!

Have you stopped to smell the roses yet?

Sometimes Adversity is a Blessing in Disguise

Bad things happen to good people. Take me, for example. There have been numerous things that have happened to me in my 30+ years of life on this earth and I think I've seen it all. Some people would probably want to curl up and die, others would become addicted to drugs, and others may drink their pain away. Somehow I've survived all that and I thank God I'm still alive. Anything you perceive to be a catastrophe or a small detour from what you've planned for yourself may actually be a blessing in disguise. Who knows, God may have better plans for you. It may be His way of making you a stronger person. Or it may be His way of testing your faith in Him. So whatever negativity you're going through right now, change your perspective of it. It'll make the journey a little easier and you may even learn a thing or two about yourself.

Exercise helps de-stress

When I find myself starting to stress out or feel my shoulders start to tense up, I get on the bike and ride like a mad woman! :) When I’m finished, I feel so relaxed. They say it takes 21 consecutive days to build a habit. I haven’t exercised everyday, but have made a commitment to exercise at least three times a week. I’ve noticed an increase in my energy level and I’m more focused.

Where There's A Will, There's A Way

As a child of God, you should expect abundance and prosperity. It's your divine right. Whatever you want in life, all you have to do is think in your mind that it's already yours. If you want something bad enough, there is a way to get it - legally. You were born with creativity. All you have to do is create and manifest what you want. Think and meditate on it day and night and it will happen for you.

Things have come into my life recently that I did not even expect. Well, I did expect them to come, but not so soon. I had a plan of acquiring them, but as I should well know, God has His own plan of action. I am truly grateful -- so truly grateful.

Keep practicing your faith... and God will make a way....
