Living Your Dreams and Remembering The Important Things In Life

Lately I’ve been spending quite a bit of time in coffee shops doing work. Oh, do I love my work! How many people can say that they can wake up whenever and do work wherever and whenever they wish? The other day I took a break from writing, looked out the window and realized just how blessed I am to be living my dream! Wow - I’m here and I really should be enjoying it more, dontcha think?

Oftentimes we get so caught up in chasing our dreams that we don’t realize that we’re already there! We’re constantly striving for more...wanting more...

I was at a friends house the other night and we watched the movie, Click! with Adam Sandler the other night. That was the first time in a long time that I actually just sat down, relaxed, and laughed my behind off! It was an eye opener for me. As much as I believe in living in the moment, sometimes I do get off track and forget why I’m doing what I’m doing. Last year I wanted more time to relax and spend time with family and friends. Now I have that time, but lately I’ve been absorbed with reaching for the next “level” of life - whatever that may be.

So, take it from me...Know that you are already on the path to living your dreams! Enjoy it! Smile! Have fun! And remember that relationships with family and friends are important ;) (I'm talking to you and myself!)

What's important to you?

Oh Maria!

I'm the one laughing my butt off, cuz I've been thinking those exact same thoughts!!

I've been trying to reach that next level myself, and realized that I need to focus more on JOY and FUN and just BEING.

What's important to me is to remain IN the moment and ENJOY living passionately!

Thanks for the affirmation on that...such cool synchroncities.

Be well,

Thank you for this powerful reminder, Maria! I tend to push myself pretty hard, and feel guilty if I "slack off." But I did it yesterday as a way to vary my routine and recharge my batteries. Lo and behold, my spirits lifted and my energy returned. Even though I'm self-employed, I can be a pretty tough boss on myself.

I can never get enough reminders to remember that what I value the most is in my life right now!

It's amazing how much more we can accomplish if we just focus on what we're doing right now and enjoy the process! Thanks for sharing and keeping me inspired as well :)

I often feel guilty for "slacking off" and for the past few months all my days have been occuppied by "work". Finally I'm beginning to let go and just "be"!

The synchronicities of life are literally amazing. I honestly can't even remember for sure how I found your blog the first time. Truth to tell, I don't think it matters. It couldn't have been any other way, simply for the fact that it was NOT any other way.
