The Promise of Law of Attraction

Jump for Joy by Bing Ramos

"It's not your work to make anything happen. It's your work to dream it and let it happen. Law of Attraction will make it happen. In your joy, you create something, and then you maintain your vibrational harmony with it, and the Universe must find a way to bring it about. That's the promise of Law of Attraction." ~ Abraham Hicks

Hi Maria,

This is true, although it is what creates the most confusion about the whole process.

Let's say that the universe does all the heavy work in bringing about your desire, but if, say you have a goal, the universe will bring about an opportunity for you to accept it, which is where the action part comes in.

For example. I want my business to make 1 million dollars. It's very unlikely that I will suddenly be presented with a million dollar transaction or a sudden surge of sales in my business.

It is more likely that I will be presented with an opportunity to take my business to a million-dollar level if I am aware enough to notice the opportunity.

I think this is where a lot of people come unstuck and get lured into the trap of blind hope. In fact the most essential discipline in all of this is to develop your awareness of what your feelings are and what they create for you.

I hope this makes sense. I am writing more about this lately.

Did you get the gift I emailed by the way?

Hi Maria! I believe that we need to back up our dreams with a great action in order for the law to work. Although I am a big fan of Abraham Hicks writings, I am not sure I completely agree with the quote. Some people will misunderstand this and say: "Oh! I don't have to do anything? Just dream about it and make it my intention?" They do miss the part " ... in your joy, you create something ..."

I've seen this happening among my clients. Have you encountered similar cases?

Thanks for sharing :)

Hi Rob & Maz,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this. I realize that there is a great deal of confusion about LOA. Here is my response about how the law of attraction works for me.
