Abundance Is All Around Us

I have spent a great deal of time on this blog talking about how to attract money. However, as you probably already know, wealth and abundance is more than just money.

As I was walking through the neighborhood on this warm day in San Diego, I couldn't help but feel this heightened sense of gratitude and appreciation for the abundance that surrounds me. I saw the seagulls flying overhead, the calm waters from the lake, the palm trees dancing in the warm breeze, and all the colorful flowers growing throughout the neighborhood.

I am grateful to have the sight to see all of this...and the legs to be able to walk the two miles.   I thought about all the people on the East Coast who are experiencing snow blizzards and extremely cold weather and I felt even more grateful to be living in California!

Yes, wealth and abundance is more than just money...

Once you start to cultivate an awareness of the idea that abundance is everywhere, you become more open to receiving even more abundance - and that includes monetary and material abundance.

I like this exercise: Look For the Abundance of Treasure All Around You

"Your diamonds are not in far distant mountains or in yonder seas; they are in your own backyard, if you but dig for them." -- Russell H. Conwell

Did you know that YOU are abundance? Within you there is a treasure-trove of ideas and love. Why not take one of those ideas and make it a physical reality? Why not share that love with others?

What are your thoughts on abundance?  What can you do today to share some of that abundance with others?

Maria,
I agree so much with all of this! We are abundance - sometimes we just don't see it. There is so much that makes us the unique beings that we are. And on top of that, there is so much that we have, that others do not. And I do believe that we can bring out that abundance by opening up our hearts, and looking inside. What do we see? That which is deeply important to us....and there lies abundance like no other!

Hi Lance!

Yes, we do have so much that others do not... Whenever I start to feel a little down, I think about all the other people in the world who struggle just to get food or shelter. It's a blessing just to have a fridge ;)

Maria I do agree, we have a world of abundance at our finger tips, right in front of us. Sometimes when we feel down and out or like the world is against us we should consider how fortunate we are to have what we have…. always remember regardless of how bad we think our situation is, there is always someone who has it worst off than we do and wish they had what we have..
I agree with you 100% …… we should be grateful for the wealth of abundance which is all around us, from our health, to the air we breath to our family and friends to life in general.. ..it should not be taken for granted.
