Happiness Is Now: Thought of the Week From Hale Dwoskin

Today I received an email from Hale Dwoskin, the President of Sedona Training Associates, and wanted to pass on the message to you...
"Joy is your natural state of being. But many of us tend to postpone or delay living our joy until sometime in the future (“When I have more money…,” “When I´m on vacation…,” “When the kids are out of the house…”).

Or we want to save our joy to reward ourselves only when we feel we really deserve it (“After I complete this big project…,” “When I get that promotion…,” “After I clean the house…”)

The truth is that planned joy is often not as joyful as we anticipate. And unlived joy is simply a tragedy on the screen of your life."

Stop waiting around for circumstances to change in order to be happy. Happiness can start right now!

One of the things I do to bring good vibes into my life is to watch inspirational videos on YouTube. Here's a video I came across today that helped raise my vibrations. Hopefully it can help you out.

The Law of Attraction and Your Feelings About Attracting Money

Money & AbundanceThis is a guest post by Gabriel Gibson...

Let's clear something up right now. Money is only one form of abundance, and is only a small part of the entire picture.

However, in the realm of modern society it plays a big role in how smoothly one's life will tend to operate. Money can serve in many capacities and allows for more opportunities for yourself and your loved ones. Money will help you to bless people, to free up your time, and to powerfully contribute to the causes that move your soul.

A life of prosperity is not so much about all the money and resources someone receives. It is more about a feeling, and how you feel about what you have already been given.

This is an absolutely key point when it comes to using the Law of Attraction to attract money. You must feel good about what you already have. If you do not feel grateful what you have, you will limit yourself, your joy, and your development in receiving more.

The practice then becomes learning to be grateful for what you have, and training your mind to experience genuine feelings of abundance and prosperity in your life as it stands now. The question becomes how will you shift your feelings about money so that you are able to receive and contain vast amounts of it, never have to worry about it again, and care for yourself and those you love for the rest of your life?

To begin with you must acknowledge that abundance and well being are a natural part of God and the universe. God and the universe are an infinite storehouse of riches. Anyone who consciously, deliberately and consistently chooses to tune into to the frequency of eternal spirit cannot help but experience this well being within themselves and their lives.

Since you have the ability and right to choose what aspects of the world and life you focus on, learn to see abundance and happiness as a God given gift for being alive.

Using the Law of Attraction to make lots of money is a spiritual practice. It is spiritual in essence because you must step out of the realm of competition that most of the world operates on when it comes to money and step into the realm of absolute and infinite God given abundance. This realm is one that is accessed by your imagination and that contains an endless array of abundance.

You are training yourself to see money as an energetic force rather than some stacks of paper.

You are training yourself to move away from the level of competition where there is a limited supply and tune into the energetic field where there is always enough.

In addition to this, making a lot of money through the Law of Attraction us a spiritual practice because you will need to grow and develop right alongside your bank account. You will need to be someone who not only attracts more money, but also someone who is able to contain it in their life.

"Your money will only grow to the extent that you do." -T. Harv Eker

Operating on the spiritual realm means consistently tuning into the infinite Spirit. You live, breath, think, and move from this place on a consistent basis. From this place where all is a state of abundance and well-being, your life cannot help but to expand accordingly.

Since money is energy, one absolutely vital role that you must play is someone who shares or extends energy. Money will not come and stay with you to any significant degree if you are not extending your inner energy and sharing it with the rest of the world.

You must be willing to offer something of energy for money to be able to flow to you consistently.

That being said, there is only a slight adjustment that must be made within your own consciousness to move you from a place of lack to a place of abundance with money. Instead of getting caught up in specific sums of money that you have to have-simply begin to practice being in an energetic place of "always enough," and by doing so you allow your inner mind to allow avenues of greater abundance and wealth to flow to you.

A Formula For Success: Think and Grow Rich Program

For several years now I have been studying the Law of Attraction and the teachings outlined in the movie, The Secret.  Meanwhile, I've been attracting many success-oriented books such as "Think and Grow Rich".

If you haven't read the book, "Think and Grow Rich", then I highly recommend you do!  It was written by a man named Napoleon Hill, an author and journalist who lived during the early 1900's. He was asked by Andrew Carnegie to interview successful people and put together a book about the formula for success. Hill ended up interviewing over 500 successful men and women including Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, John D. Rockefeller, just to name a few.

What Do Successful People Have in Common?

What Napoleon Hill discovered during this 20+ year process of studying millionaires was that there is indeed a formula for success. In his book, "Think and Grow Rich", he outlines what all successful people have in common. There are certain qualities that you will find in people who have become millionaires which include desire, faith, specialized knowledge, imagination, and persistence. He also discovered that successful people had a habit of exchanging ideas with other people - what he referred to as a Master Mind group. Each chapter of "Think and Grow Rich" analyzes each of the 13 principles that brought riches and money.

Pure Inspiration

Just like the movie, The Secret, was a huge success in modern times, "Think and Grow Rich" became a best-selling book and made Napoleon Hill a success. In the Master Mind I joined last year, we studied this book and it added more depth to my knowledge of the Law of Success and the Law of Attraction.

Dale Carnegie truly believed that if this success formula was taught in schools, it would revolutionize the educational system and cut the time spent in school to half. I completely agree! The book was pure inspiration for me and I refer to it every now and then to keep me inspired and motivated.

Learn the Formula For Success

The success principles contained in "Think and Grow Rich" isn't something you just learn overnight. You can't expect to just read the book and immediately become a success. Each one of has a learning curve and we all learn differently. Some people like to read while others prefer learning via audio or video. Still others prefer to learn in a group setting.

I was able to get a review copy of a "Think and Grow Rich" home study program that contains everything you need to fully absorb the content and apply what you learn.

This e-course/program contains:
  • A video series with slides that you can watch on your computer. (1 video for each chapter of the book.) This is my favorite component of the program because I prefer to read along while listening.
  • An audio component that you can download to a CD or mp3 player and listen to in the car or while you're out going for a walk. (1 audio file for each chapter)
  • A 4-hour video seminar that analyzes the whole book.  Below is a screenshot of what the video seminar looks like...

  • The original "Think and Grow Rich" book in ebook form.
  • A "Think and Grow Rich Made Easy" ebook/workbook. This is a modern version of the book that lays out the 13 principles in easy-to-understand language. This is the part where you get to apply what you learned in the book.
Find out more about the program here...

I think the workbook is probably the most important part of this program because I believe you can't really learn until you have actually applied what you've read or listened to. The workbook is 99 pages long and I don't recommend trying to rush through it. Take your time and work on everything that's suggested including the self-analysis sections. You'll definitely walk away with a different perspective of your life and get insight into what is getting in the way of being remarkably successful.

One of the things I learned from going through the workbook is that I could definitely improve on the services and products I provide for others. My marketing clients have told me that I do phenomenal work for them, but I know there's always room for improvement. I've been thinking now how I can personally provide that "Wow" service that I always preach.

What about you? What can you do to develop and nurture a millionaire mindset and be of service to others? Are you following a formula for success?

Would You Like to Design the Best 10 Years of Your Life?

Every couple months I looking forward to receiving SUCCESS Magazine in the mail. Darren Hardy, the publisher of SUCCESS, has truly put together a great resource that never fails to uplift me.  Every single article is full of inspiration!

I like this video message, "What You Think About, Comes About", that Darren posted on YouTube:

Recently Darren Hardy started an eight-week course called "Designing the Best 10 Years of Your Life" on his blog. This is a free course, and although he's already in week 5 of the program, you can still read all the posts that are archived on his blog.

Success CornerNOW is the time to start creating a successful, fulfilling life! What are you waiting for?!?

We're already in the second month of 2010, and the prosperous energy I've been feeling is starting to have a snowball effect.  So many ideas have been flowing to me and every day I take action towards my vision and goals - which is one of the reasons I haven't been able to post here very often.

As I progress on this journey into ultimate wealth and prosperity, I'm learning how to stay focused on the feelings of living a good life.  I don't know about you, but I often get tied up in the "how's" of life.  How do I get from Point A to Point B?  Although I think it's an important question to ask in the beginning, I also think it's equally important to simply ask the question and let it go...then wait for inspiration to come.  The inspired action steps are guiding you in the direction that will manifest all your aspirations.

Right now I'm at the point where I'm starting to clear all the brain clutter and really listen to what my gut is telling me to do.  Sometimes what I feel I should be doing doesn't really make sense at the time, but I do it anyway.

I'm also learning how to stay open to all possibilities.  Just like many people, I sometimes get too focused on a project that I think will take me to where I want to be that I overlook another project that may manifest my goal much quicker.

I'd love to hear about your own journey to wealth and prosperity!  Please share your thoughts via comments...

All the Best,
-Maria
