Overcome Negative Thoughts and Feelings in 5 Minutes

As much as I love to be happy and inspire people to live more blissful lives, I admit that I'm not exactly "perfect" in this area. I can say that I am happy about 98% of the time, but once in a blue moon negative thoughts and feelings will creep up. Living Your Life With Purpose

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing one of my favorite bloggers, Stephanie Quilao, for the Studio 747 BlogTalk Radio Show. The topic of conversation was about living your life with purpose, and Stephanie shared her thoughts about what that means to her in addition to offering some advice to people who are not sure what their life purpose is.

Stephanie mentioned that she is at a pivot point in her life in that she only wants to do things that are fun and exciting to her. She's come to realize through her blogging and tweeting that her purpose is to inspire people to live healthier lives.

3 Positivity Practices From Sheri Riley

Need help staying optimistic and calm - even during times of financial strife and relationship turmoil? Consider these 3 “Positivity Practices” from work/life balance expert Sheri Riley, founder of GLUE, Inc. and creator of the Exponential Living program:

1: Reflect on Positive Past Events
Cultivating and maintaining a peaceful, calm and optimistic life must be a goal of paramount importance.  Distractions and life’s distresses both small and large, most definitely including those work, financial and relationship-related, will pull you away from this goal each and every time you allow it.  Your thoughts are the training ground and spring board for your overall disposition and perspective on life.  Many accomplished people never pause to revel in or acknowledge their past successes.  They are constantly striving for what’s next. While not entirely a bad thing, when your desire to achieve and earn becomes bigger than your desire to BE, your existence will be likened to a hamster running in an endless circle, never at peace and never at a point of rest.
