|One of the highlights of 2012: My 20 year high school reunion. |
(I'm on the far right.)
"Yeah, me too!" said her friend.
I stopped to think about the first half of 2012 and what I've done, where I've been, and how I've felt. After much reflection, I concluded that, yes, 2012 has been the best year ever for me.
One of my intentions this year is to travel more, and yes, that has happened. I've been to Canada, San Francisco, Sedona, Chicago, and other fantastic places. I even got to watch my favorite sports team, the Boston Celtics, play at Oracle Arena!
I've also wanted to have better relationships with the people in my life, which is happening too.
The big factor in how this year has manifested for me is my ability to look at the positive aspects of everything and to stay focused on THE NOW. I still have a long ways to go, but I'm so grateful for all the wonderful people who have inspired me through their YouTube videos, blog posts, and tweets. I'm grateful for readers like you who have supported my journey.
There's no doubt in my mind that 2012 is a special year. The energy is changing and we're entering into a whole new way of life. It may seem like chaos right now with all the world events, but remember that everything is perfect right now. Things will change very soon.
Everyday I make time to listen to or read something uplifting and positive, which keeps me centered and focused on being a channel of good and positive vibes. Recently I came across this gratitude meditation that I want to share with you...
Take some time today to reflect over the past six months of 2012. Has it been your best year ever? If not, what one thing can you do today to make a change?
