The World Needs More Leaders

Boy with Determination
As the U.S. presidential election is coming up, I've been thinking about all the different leaders we have in our world. Not only do we have political leaders and business leaders, but we have leaders in media, sports, religion, and just about every aspect of our lives.

Did you know, though, that you can be a leader too? Some of you may think that everyone can't be a leader, just as there can't be too many cooks in the kitchen. What I'm talking about is that each and every one of us has a leader within. I consider myself the leader of my own life. You have it within you to inspire change not just for yourself, but for others as well. You can be a leader just by setting a good example of conscious living.

As a leader, you become a better manifester. Manifesters have the ability to create a vision for who they are, what they want to accomplish, and what they want to attract into their lives. You have the capability to carry out a vision - whether it's a personal vision, community's vision, or an organization's vision. You have the power to imagine all the possibilities and to believe fully with your heart that change can happen.

As a leader, you can change the business world. This is an area that is near and dear to my heart and why I've written so many articles about service. Currently, our economies are based on business. People talk about the lack of employment, but what I believe is that there are many organizational leadership jobs out there and those opportunities will increase as we transition into more conscious living. We can never have too many leaders. A person could get a masters degree in organizational leadership and have a better understanding of what processes need to be carried out to promote positive change. With this positive energy we can have a healthier business world that is not driven by profits, but by a vision of wealth and prosperity for everyone. That's a true win-win situation.

Whether or not you take organizational leadership masters degree courses, study business administration, or you just want to be self-taught, the world needs people to step up and realize the power within them to make a difference. Don’t be a zombie going through the motions waiting for other people to make a change. I know it sounds cliche, but change begins with you. It really does. Be that leader you were meant to be.
